"Modernity is a disenchantment process." This is all storytelling. And yes, we are losing people in that funnel. WOW. I am blown away by the synchronicities of this conversation, the words and the weaving you both are doing with the human story & modern ideas of "mental health" and diagnosing. I didn't know there were others who speak & believe these things as I do. THANK YOU! I cannot wait to join you both, thank you!

this means SO MUCH. truly so grateful to receive your resonance and your words!! this is Exactly why these conversations and spaces feel so important-- to continue letting all of us on the edges know there are so very many others out there, like us-- evolving our own creative and generative ways of meeting our circumstances. <3

Well said! Weaving with words the stories told and untold 💞 thank you for creating these spaces on the edge, goodness knows I'm allergic to monotony! ;)

I'm intrigued by this idea that the point of connection in an entrapment (possiblly also enmeshment?) is also the point of escape. I think I'm ready to follow this thread, curiously.

WOW— thank you so much for this thread— i too feel so much curiosity about it, especially in a particular situation i’m finding myself in, in my life currently .. i’d love to hear where this inquiry emerged from in the podcast, was it something chaise or i said, or something that emerged after listening to us in general? thank you for taking the time to hear this conversation ! <3

Chaise said this at around 34mins. Really good stuff, I'm grappling with what it means to heal from cultic upbringing & abuse. I have been diagnosed with CPTSD & possibly other DSM labels that I'm not exactly rejected but I'm unwilling to let 'society' define me by these terms. So how do I escape through the mirror? I'm beginning to find my way & I, for now, am learning to trust my intuition.

'escaping through the mirror' is truly what it is. deep blessings to you for the tenderness and the TRUE COURAGE it takes to continue saying Yes to life after experiences such as the ones you shared. to making spaciousness around DSM diagnoses/societal labelings to follow your own intuition.. Yes, Yes. this is Exactly the dangerous and sacred work we are talking about. <3
