Aurore is known as a teacher of creative writing, a poetry doula mentoring poets and a performer and author.
She has travelled around the world performing on stages and is the author of nine books including a deck of illuminated poetry cards, dedicated to the suicided dead.
This deck Only Dying Sparkles is a great example of Aurore’s poetry/intuitive magix crossover praxis. The artwork was imagined by a powerful transcendental witch in North-West America and after its emergence has been used as a way to communicate with the beloved dead by fans.
Aurore has been forging an understanding of the wyrd via immersion, studies & Praxis for 30 years. She always gives thanks to teachers who have emerged at the right time, from Buddhist foundations to Sufi healing practice, Vedic Asana & meditation, Butoh, and the ancient magix of original peoples from the Nordic to Turtle Island to the land mass never named by native peoples as ‘Australia’.
Currently, Aurore is awaiting her Völva staff which is being wrought in the fires of a blacksmith in Glastonbury. She is a conscientious and careful practitioner, interested in ethics, laws of cause & effect and believes the time is neigh for intersectional, syncretic, feminist work that sets itself apart from the older patriarchal-dominated magix that always seems to see the female form as subordinate.
